How do I search for a transaction?
To search for a transaction from the gateway portal:
- Log in to the Gateway Portal.
- From the Main Menu, select Reports under the Trans Reports header.
- In the Search Transaction box, you may enter as little or as much information as you like, then click Submit.
How do I issue a refund?
To refund a transaction from the gateway portal:
- Log in to the Gateway Portal.
- Click Refund from the Main Menu under Credit Card.
- Enter the Transaction ID of the original transaction you wish to void. You may also use the magnifier icon to look up a transaction.
- Select Refund to complete the action.

Can I accept pre-paid cards?
Yes, customers may use prepaid gift cards that are branded with a Visa, American Express, MasterCard, or Discover logo at any merchant location accepting the particular card brand.
Can I use a virtual terminal?
Yes, NMI provides you with access to a virtual terminal to manually process credit cards. Please see instructional PDF.
